Ownership of Collaborative Works: law, practice and some lessons from open source/Prof. Rebecca Giblin Abstract

Should copyrights exist in open textbooks or should such works be dedicated to the public domain?

This talk will draw lessons from the open source experience to explore these issues and improve understanding about how best to structure copyright ownership in the open textbook context.
